The ICAEW introduce new service!

As hosted services are becoming a vital component of business systems for more and more organisations, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) has introduced a new service which aims to give businesses access to reliable independent information when selecting a hosting partner.

The "Hosting Review Service" developed in conjunction with Baker Tilly Tax and Accounting Ltd and allied to the successful Software Accreditation Scheme shows the ICAEW's continued commitment to being at the forefront in supplying verified technical information to enable organisations to make informed choices in their technology selections.

The launch of the new service has been welcomed by John Oates, Baker Tilly Partner, IT Advisory Services who said, "It is incredibly important that accountants have access to information on developing technology that could impact on their business environment. Baker Tilly is delighted to be working with the ICAEW in launching this scheme and assisting in continuing its commitment to IT for the future".

On the launch of the new service Brian Parnham, Managing Director, Perceptive Online commented "I'm pleased to announce that Perceptive Online has been recognised by successfully completing the ICAEW hosting review process and look forward to being an active member of the scheme".

Sharron Gunn, Director, Member Services Directorate, ICAEW also said "I would like to congratulate Perceptive Online Ltd on becoming the first company to have had their Hosting Application Platform reviewed and welcome them onto the ICAEW new "Hosting Service Review".
