What is ActiveSync
ActiveSync pulls data from a Microsoft Exchange server to your iPhone. This means that as soon as something changes on the server, it can automatically update the device. So, if you change something in Outlook or via Outlook Web Access, within moments your iPhone will show the exact same changes and vice versa.
